Project Engineer (Offshore Wind Industry)

Job summary

This role involves delivering safe and efficient engineering solutions for offshore wind Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services. The Project Engineer will lead engineering efforts from concept through execution, collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., civil engineering, naval architecture, marine or offshore engineering).
• Minimum of 8 years of technical experience in offshore construction, naval architecture, or marine/geotechnical engineering.
• Strong understanding of the offshore wind industry's complexities and experience in developing feasible and commercially competitive technical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple teams and tight deadlines.
• Proficient with engineering tools and documentation systems relevant to offshore operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust engineering concepts and solutions for O&M services, balancing safety and commercial impact.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to prepare technical scopes and evaluate third-party solutions.
• Lead technical execution efforts, ensuring high-quality engineering packages and documentation.
• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders, suppliers, and classification societies.
• Drive continuous improvement of standards and processes by integrating lessons learned.
