Qualifications

  • Familiarity with unit rate construction pricing and management contracting methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support full construction procurement programs from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop procurement strategies for construction packages.
  • Create impactful commercial presentations for contractors.
  • Review and evaluate proposals, making recommendations to the team.
  • Negotiate pricing for work packages and implement strategies for value.
  • Manage contract alignment and performance of contractors and project teams.
  • Coordinate contract notices and oversee contract releases and payment applications.
  • Assist in negotiation and settlement of construction disputes and claims.
  • Review cost-saving proposals and assess implications on contracts.

Education

  • Relevant experience in construction project controls or contract administration is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with contract management software and procurement tools is beneficial.
