Job summary

The role involves supporting construction procurement programs from inception to completion, developing procurement strategies, and managing contract alignment for contractors and project teams. Responsibilities include reviewing proposals, negotiating pricing, overseeing contract execution, and assisting in dispute resolution.

• Familiarity with unit rate construction pricing and management contracting methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support full construction procurement programs from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with the team to develop procurement strategies for construction packages.
• Create impactful commercial presentations for contractors.
• Review and evaluate proposals, making recommendations to the team.
• Negotiate pricing for work packages and implement strategies for value.
• Manage contract alignment and performance of contractors and project teams.
• Coordinate contract notices and oversee contract releases and payment applications.
• Assist in negotiation and settlement of construction disputes and claims.
• Review cost-saving proposals and assess implications on contracts.

Education

• Relevant experience in construction project controls or contract administration is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with contract management software and procurement tools is beneficial.
