Project Controller (Finance, International, Aarhus)

Job summary

The role of Project Controller involves managing the commercial and financial aspects of international projects within high-tech intralogistics systems. This position is integral to project teams, providing support to project managers and directors while ensuring effective financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, management, accounting, control, or auditing equivalent.
• Experience in project controlling, particularly in large-scale international projects is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Define project goals and support risk identification and mitigation.
• Create and maintain project budgets and schedules; prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts.
• Execute performance controlling including product costs, revenue, cash flow, and margin analysis.
• Support projects with tax, insurance, and contract compliance issues.
• Analyze project progress and recommend improvements.
• Ensure accurate financial booking and month-end closing processes.
• Manage daily operations including invoicing and monitoring receivables.

Skills

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; self-driven and analytical mindset.
• Ability to challenge project data constructively.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA is advantageous.

Education

• MSc in finance, management, accounting, control, or equivalent.

• MS Office Suite, particularly Excel; ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
