Project Controller

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing financial control within complex projects in the food processing sector. The Project Controller will ensure financial performance, transparency, and governance across the project portfolio, working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controlling, financial analysis, or a similar role in a project-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, and cost control.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or project-based environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks and governance models.
• Understanding of commercial and contract management principles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure robust financial control across projects, including tracking costs, revenue, margins, and cash flow, along with accurate forecasting.
• Monitor project schedules and milestones, providing visibility on deviations and critical path performance.
• Deliver structured reporting aligned with governance standards, including dashboards and KPIs.
• Identify and track financial and schedule risks and opportunities, ensuring proactive escalation.
• Act as a business partner to Project Managers, providing data-driven insights and constructive challenges.
• Support continuous improvement of project controls and reporting quality.
