Product Manager (Automotive Industry)

Job summary

The role involves leading the development of a shared Product Platform for a global automotive digital solutions provider. The Product Manager will establish and manage the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for the Product Foundation and Marketplace operational platform, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various business units.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product management, particularly with complex shared platforms or enterprise products.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data models, and identity/access management.
• Experience in building greenfield products or consolidating existing solutions.
• Ability to navigate complex B2B customer structures and translate them into product direction.
• Data-driven approach to product discovery and prioritization.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes for the Product Platform.
• Identify common needs and differences among customers and internal teams to standardize workflows.
• Lead the migration from existing business-unit capabilities to a unified platform without disrupting operations.
• Collaborate with Product Design and Engineering, aligning with various stakeholders across the organization.
• Track outcomes related to provisioning, subscription accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
