Product Developer (Sportswear, Aarhus)

Job summary

The role involves overseeing the development of sportswear products from concept to finished garment, working closely with various teams to ensure alignment with market trends and brand strategy.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in product development, preferably in sportswear or sporting goods
• Solid understanding of materials and production processes
• Experience with PLM/ERP systems such as Delogue or Navision, or ability to learn quickly
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Line Manager and design team to develop product concepts
• Source and approve fabrics and trimmings with suppliers
• Participate in fittings to ensure quality and fit
• Execute cost breakdowns and negotiate with suppliers
• Maintain style information and specifications in relevant systems
• Conduct market and competitor analysis
• Coordinate fabric approvals for production
• Travel to suppliers and factories as needed
• Manage the full development process, ensuring timelines and milestones are met
