About the role

Job summary

This role involves supporting the procurement cycle for essential medicines and health products, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely availability in warehouses and strategic hubs. The position is critical for effective service provision to customers, processing requisitions and requests accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

  • Completion of secondary education with additional training in Business Administration. A Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 3 years of relevant work experience, while a Master’s degree may replace an additional 2 years.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in procurement or administrative functions in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the procurement cycle for essential medicines and related health products.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and plan replenishment cycles.
  • Ensure timely availability of essential medicines in warehouses and strategic hubs.
  • Process requisitions and requests accurately and in a timely manner.

Skills

  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and product safety.

Education

  • Secondary education with additional training in Business Administration; higher education may substitute for work experience.
