Job summary

This role involves joining a global privacy team within a legal department, focusing on privacy, information security, and AI compliance. The position can be fully remote or a hybrid setup with some office presence in London or Winnersh.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the EU GDPR.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in privacy advisory roles and managing privacy programs.
  • Proactive in identifying risks and driving mitigation projects.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain privacy program assets, including documentation and policies.
  • Respond to internal and external privacy inquiries.
  • Support large projects by providing organizational assistance and research.
  • Conduct supplier privacy reviews and partner with business units for privacy impact assessments.
  • Negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with suppliers.
  • Monitor emerging privacy and information security laws globally and assist in compliance implementation.
  • Identify privacy risks and lead initiatives to address them.
  • Conduct privacy audits and manage data subject access requests and data breach protocols.

Skills

  • Familiarity with OneTrust 3rd Party Risk platform is preferred.
  • Exposure to international privacy and information security laws is advantageous.
  • Interest in technology, particularly SaaS and AI, is beneficial.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.

Education

  • Relevant qualifications in privacy or legal fields are desirable.

Tools

  • Experience with privacy management tools, particularly OneTrust, is preferred.
