Principal/Sr Principal, Strategic Advisory Consulting

Job summary

This role involves working with life sciences clients to address complex strategic, technological, and operational challenges as part of a consulting team. You will be responsible for delivering high-impact consulting engagements and ensuring client satisfaction while identifying new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree or MBA is a plus.
• At least 12 years of professional experience in consulting or the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry, with a proven track record of career advancement.
• Strong background in the life sciences and/or healthcare sector.
• Experience in leading teams and delivering impactful client engagements.
• Ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust and mutual value.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate collaboration across various advisory services and the broader ecosystem to design integrated solutions.
• Serve as a trusted partner to VP+ clients, managing engagements from start to finish and ensuring quality and satisfaction.
• Develop tailored proposals to meet or exceed revenue targets and maintain client relationships post-delivery.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership across projects, ensuring actionable recommendations.
• Stay informed on industry trends to enhance client discussions and advisory propositions.
• Contribute to the firm's visibility through thought leadership and external engagement.
• Support team development through mentoring and coaching.

Education
