Principal Content Designer

Job summary

The role involves creating and executing content for user interfaces, in-product messaging, and learning experiences within the Experience Foundations team for AEC. The Principal Content Designer will collaborate with various cross-functional teams to ensure content is effectively integrated into product development, while also guiding the design of intuitive onboarding experiences and improving content quality through innovative methods.

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or related fields.
• Proven track record in delivering high-quality content for complex digital products.
• Strong ability to simplify complex information into clear content formats.
• Experience working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Commitment to customer-centered design and iterative processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools and designing AI-native user experiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Senior Content Strategist to create user interface content and tutorials.
• Evolve content standards and design systems to enhance coherence.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate content early in product development.
• Design engaging onboarding and learning experiences.
• Explore AI-enabled methods to improve content quality and speed.
• Define metrics for content effectiveness and collaborate on continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on content design trends and share knowledge with the team.
