Job summary

The Press & Community Coordinator plays a vital role in executing global press and community initiatives within the Brand & Marketing team. This position focuses on ensuring effective communication operations and fostering relationships that align with the brand's objectives.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in PR, communications, or agency account management, preferably in fashion, design, lifestyle, or culture.
  • Strong appreciation for design and the brand's ethos.
  • Proven experience in managing or coordinating external agencies or consultants.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of various workstreams.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple relationships simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong editorial sense.
  • Familiarity with both traditional and modern media landscapes, particularly in the interiors sector.
  • Culturally engaged and curious, with a focus on key markets like the UK, US, and France.
  • Relationship-oriented with a focus on building trust.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain infrastructure for external PR agencies, managing asset delivery and timelines.
  • Maintain a responsive press presence and oversee sample request prioritization.
  • Act as the main contact for operational queries and manage the press inbox.
  • Collaborate with the Brand & Marketing team on activation strategies and logistics for events.
  • Host press and community events, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Manage the seeding program and forecast needs against budget.
  • Research and identify new community contacts and partners.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and assist in developing internal systems and workflows.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Editorial instinct and understanding of media trends.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with PR management tools and databases is beneficial.
