Job summary

This role focuses on leading a team responsible for sourcing, validating, and operating market data pipelines essential for Pre-Trade decision-making in a renewable energy trading environment. The position combines technical execution with leadership and operational ownership, emphasizing the development of in-house capabilities and modernizing data scraping infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on development experience with Python and C#/.NET
• Familiarity with data ingestion pipelines, scrapers, and automation frameworks
• Understanding of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineers while remaining technically active
• Exposure to market data and trading workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an in-house data scraping and operations team
• Coach developers and students entering the data scraping talent pipeline
• Design, build, and maintain scrapers and ingestion workflows
• Provide architectural direction across the Pre-Trade technology stack
• Ensure stable and timely data ingestion across markets
• Balance operational support with roadmap-driven enhancements
