A postdoctoral position is available in the field of Experimental Semiconductor Nanophotonics, focusing on the investigation of novel semiconductor nanocavities that utilize extreme dielectric confinement. Qualifications

  • PhD in physics, photonics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong background in experimental optics or nanophotonics.
  • Experience with ultrafast optics, pump-probe spectroscopy, or semiconductor nanostructures is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with nanofabrication processes is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct experimental research on semiconductor nanocavities.
  • Perform short-pulse pump-probe spectroscopy and advanced optical characterization of nanophotonic devices.
  • Develop new device concepts and contribute to fabrication processes in cleanroom facilities.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education
