Qualifications

  • Strong motivation, independence, and hands-on skills in analytical and experimental techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory work to enhance microbial protein production using gas fermentation and GMOs.
  • Develop a life cycle inventory for the fermentation process.
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Disseminate research findings through publications and conference participation.
  • Engage in teaching and supervision related to biological water treatment and biowaste valorization.

Skills

  • Strong background in environmental biotechnology.
  • Proficiency in analytical and experimental techniques.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Education

  • A PhD degree in biotechnology or a related discipline is required.
