About the role

Job summary

This position offers a fully funded 3-year postdoctoral opportunity focused on the chemical synthesis, formulation, in vivo delivery, and immunoregulatory effects of novel compounds. The role involves collaboration with faculty members and aims to enhance understanding of immune cell signaling pathways related to inflammation and cancer.

Qualifications

  • PhD degree required by March 2027
  • Significant experience in mouse immunology, particularly with inflammation and tumor models
  • FELASA B certification or equivalent for working with mice in Europe
  • Proven experience in synthetic chemistry, Western blotting, drug formulation, and multi-parametric flow cytometry
  • Experience in isolating and culturing mouse cells from various organs
  • Basic biochemistry skills, including protein identification and binding assays

Responsibilities

  • Organize and conduct experiments, analyzing data critically
  • Work independently and coordinate projects with collaborators
  • Demonstrate techniques to students and new lab members
  • Present findings in lab and section meetings regularly
  • Participate in larger experiments beyond the immediate project
  • Contribute to basic lab maintenance

Skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills for presentations and meetings

Education

  • PhD in a relevant field required by the start date
