About the role

Job summary

The Portfolio Manager will oversee pricing and optimization of a diverse product range within the bi-weekly tender process, collaborating closely with internal departments, particularly Supply Chain and Business Development, to enhance product launches and profitability in Denmark.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or life sciences.
  • Over 2 years of relevant experience in roles such as product, portfolio, or pricing manager, market analyst, or management consultant.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the Specialty Rx portfolio in Denmark.
  • Conduct portfolio and performance analyses.
  • Define pricing strategies and ensure structured price submissions for hospital tenders and bi-weekly processes.
  • Prepare business cases for potential product launches.
  • Oversee launch preparations for both substitutable and non-substitutable products, including pricing and marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with the S&OP team to maintain and optimize sales forecasts.

Skills

  • Advanced analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the capability to work strategically and operationally.
  • Excellent Excel skills and presentation capabilities for clear communication of analyses.
  • Team player with a structured approach to managing complexity and diverse tasks.

Education

  • Degree in business, supply chain, or life sciences.

Tools

  • Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools relevant to portfolio management.
