Job summary

The role of Portfolio Analyst involves transforming complex data into actionable insights to support commercial and strategic decisions within the European pharmaceutical market. This position is based in Copenhagen and requires collaboration with various teams to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or a biological background with commercial experience.
  • Newly graduated or a few years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product and portfolio analyses to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Perform market analyses and monitor developments in relevant markets.
  • Support portfolio management and commercial decision-making with data-driven insights.
  • Manage and assess risks across relevant business areas.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve reporting and analytical capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into specifications for digital tools and reporting solutions.
  • Support Sales and the Portfolio Management team with analyses and operational tasks.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across functions to ensure effective use of market intelligence.
  • Travel occasionally (approximately 1-2 days per month).

Skills

  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly.
  • Experience with data, reporting, and business insights.
  • Interest in the pharmaceutical industry and market dynamics.
  • Advantageous: Experience with Power BI or similar tools, knowledge of pharmaceutical markets, and French language skills.

Education

  • Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Power BI (preferred).
