Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, materials science, or a related field.
  • Essential experience in biomaterials synthesis, modification, and characterization techniques such as spectroscopy and rheology.

Responsibilities

  • Design, synthesize, formulate, and characterize new materials (inks) for micro-extrusion 3D printing.
  • Conduct 3D bioprinting of implantable biohybrid tissues.

Skills

  • Strong background in polymer chemistry and hydrogel design.
  • Knowledge of crosslinking mechanisms and structure–property relationships in biomaterials.

Education

  • A two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent academic level is required.

Tools

  • Experience with characterization tools and techniques relevant to materials science.
