Responsibilities

  • Conduct scientific research in X-ray optics for space telescopes.
  • Attend PhD courses and complete required training.
  • Design and develop novel high-energy focusing optics.
  • Characterize X-ray optics for astronomical applications.
  • Analyze scientific data and write articles and technical reports.
  • Perform research abroad for 3–6 months as part of the PhD program.

Education

  • A two-year master's degree or equivalent is required.
