Job summary

This role focuses on producing high-impact video content for performance marketing, directly influencing acquisition and revenue. The Performance Video Editor will transform raw footage into multiple ad variations aimed at maximizing engagement and conversions across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and CTV.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in performance-driven video editing, preferably in DTC or eCommerce.
  • Proven ability to create ads for Meta, TikTok, and CTV platforms.
  • Strong grasp of direct response advertising and short-form retention strategies.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, and hook rate.

Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into 5–10+ high-performing ad variations with diverse hooks and messaging.
  • Create UGC-style ads and remixed content for paid social platforms.
  • Adapt video creatives for CTV, ensuring proper format and pacing.
  • Test and implement hooks, CTAs, and messaging variations to boost engagement.
  • Optimize storytelling and pacing in line with performance marketing best practices.
  • Collaborate with media buyers to refine creatives based on performance data.
  • Repurpose existing content into new variations for ongoing testing.
