Mid-Senior AI Engineer

Job summary

The role involves developing and implementing advanced AI solutions within a global supply chain context. The focus is on creating reliable, production-grade language systems powered by large language models (LLMs) and enhancing business operations through AI applications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in AI engineering or applied data science, particularly with AI, NLP, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience in building maintainable software.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI or LLM-based solutions.
• Familiarity with software engineering practices including testing, CI/CD, and version control.
• Experience with model evaluation and monitoring tools (e.g., MLflow).
• Proficient in English communication within cross-functional, agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI, GenAI, NLP, and RAG features of moderate complexity independently.
• Develop RAG pipelines, including document parsing, chunking, and metadata strategies.
• Build GenAI features using LLM APIs and orchestration frameworks.
• Evaluate AI system performance through various practical metrics.
• Own features end-to-end, from requirements clarification to deployment and support.
• Identify risks and propose solutions early in the development process.
• Stay updated on advancements in LLMs and applied AI frameworks.

Skills

• Strong understanding of AI language systems and production implementations.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.

Tools

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Familiarity with RAG architectures, embeddings, and retrieval techniques.
• Knowledge of Kedro and KServe for data and ML pipeline management and model deployment.
