Mechanical Technician (On-site)

Job summary

Seeking a skilled mechanical technician to support the development of pilot production equipment and processes in a project-based environment. This role involves working closely with a team of specialists and engineers to ensure robust and scalable processes for high-volume production.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an industrial machinist, industrial technician, welder, automotive mechanic, or similar.
• Solid hands-on experience in mechanical work, including machining on manual lathes and milling machines, design, construction, and technical problem solving.
• Proactive and motivated to engage in development activities.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with both technicians and academic professionals.
• Interest in building process understanding and competencies for operating pilot equipment.
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks and deliver results quickly.
• Familiarity with documentation and quality requirements for CE-marked equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and technically develop pilot equipment and supporting tools.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and take corrective actions on pilot equipment and components.
• Collaborate closely with project teams on process improvements and new technical solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical support during test runs as part of process and product development, including testing at machine suppliers in Denmark and Northern Europe, as well as at international sites.
