Mechanical Piping Supervisor

Job summary

The Mechanical Piping Supervisor will oversee site activities, ensuring coordination with other trades and maintaining high standards of quality and safety on mechanical construction projects. This role involves managing labor requirements, conducting weekly reports, and facilitating toolbox talks.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical construction projects within relevant sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Semi-Conductor, or Oil & Gas.
• Ability to read isometric drawings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Essential experience with Navis Works 3D Model.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities with other trades.
• Prepare and issue weekly reports to the line manager.
• Conduct weekly toolbox talks and attend morning meetings.
• Ensure labor requirements align with project timelines.
• Maintain high-quality standards for all work.
• Monitor subcontractor efficiency and compliance with specifications.
• Notify management of any variations or delays.
• Ensure safe storage and coordination of materials on site.
• Verify that all subcontractor equipment is certified and operational.
• Address health and safety issues and promote safe working practices.
• Implement improvements for safety and maintain high housekeeping standards.

Education

• Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field are preferred.
