Mechanical Engineer (On-site, Copenhagen)

Job summary

An experienced Mechanical Engineer is needed to play a crucial role in designing innovative solutions for the dental sector. This position involves collaboration within a multi-disciplinary development team to convert conceptual designs into user-friendly products.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Autonomous Systems, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in high-precision product development or complex electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development efforts alongside project managers and engineering colleagues.
• Convert high-level performance specifications into detailed mechanical concepts, models, and components suitable for manufacturing.
• Conduct detailed CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, and mechanical simulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics, firmware, and systems engineering, to ensure effective mechanical and electro-mechanical integration.
• Advocate for design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) practices and engage with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective production.

Skills

• Proficient in parametric CAD and mechanical simulation, specifically using SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, including kinematics, requirements engineering, product quality testing, and tolerance stack-up.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving complex projects to completion.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary teams focused on product innovation.

Education

• Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
