Job summary

The role involves working as a Mechanical Design Engineer focusing on innovative design solutions for equipment in the food processing sector, particularly within the poultry division. The position is based in Aarhus and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team across various locations.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (mechanical, mechatronics, or related technical fields)
• Experience in engineering technical systems, preferably in the food industry
• Strong attention to detail and structured work approach
• Proficiency in CAD and PDM/PLM tools
• Good command of English, both written and verbal
• Team player with effective communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance a range of equipment, implementing design updates for performance and cost improvements
• Ensure accuracy of technical documentation for effective communication within the organization
• Update equipment to comply with safety standards and international regulations
• Collaborate with project teams to design and develop mechanical solutions, including creating necessary documentation in 3D CAD and PDM systems
• Focus on functional, hygienic, and safety aspects in design
• Deliver specifications on time for customer solutions
