Market Development Manager (Water Sector, Remote, Europe)

Job summary

This role focuses on driving growth in municipal wastewater and drinking water markets across Europe. It involves collaborating with various teams to shape strategies that ensure market leadership and accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or application roles within municipal wastewater and/or drinking water markets
• Proven ability to analyze markets and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Strong presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 40% across Europe

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in municipal water markets
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
• Define and influence regional marketing and commercial strategies
• Provide voice-of-customer insights to support product innovation
• Collaborate with Sales Leaders and Engineering firms across Europe
• Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the industry
• Address complex customer challenges with effective solutions
• Contribute to marketing campaigns and messaging
• Represent the organization at industry events and conferences
