Job summary

The role involves leading a team in a GMP manufacturing environment, specifically focusing on mammalian production processes during the night shift. The supervisor will ensure safe and compliant operations while fostering team engagement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Technical or academic background in biotechnology, bioprocessing, or engineering
• Experience in GMP manufacturing
• Leadership experience, either formal or informal
• Proactive mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Strong communication skills and motivational abilities
• Familiarity with Lean methodologies or structured problem-solving is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring safety and compliance
• Provide real-time guidance to technicians/operators and assist with troubleshooting
• Maintain documentation accuracy and promote strong GMP practices
• Monitor process performance and ensure smooth production flow
• Facilitate effective shift handovers and maintain alignment across 24/7 operations
• Support training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
