Manager, Tax Technology

Job summary

The Manager, Tax Technology plays a crucial role in assisting clients with digital tax transformation and the development of tax-enabled ERP and compliance solutions. This position involves working closely with client tax, finance, and technology stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and solution design across various ERP platforms.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in tax and technology, including VAT/GST advisory, ERP transformation, and tax compliance technology.
• Experience with tax-enabled ERP implementations and e-invoicing/digital compliance solutions.
• Solid understanding of indirect tax; knowledge of direct tax and transfer pricing is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Nordic languages is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and experience in project-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERP tax workstreams in SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, and D365, including requirement gathering and testing coordination.
• Support integration of tax requirements into business processes like order-to-cash and procure-to-pay.
• Document and manage tax-related controls and process flows.
• Assist with compliance obligations related to e-invoicing and real-time reporting mandates across various regions.
• Support integration between ERP systems and tax engines/compliance providers.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performing team environment.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is typically required.

Tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); Access knowledge is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, D365) and familiarity with tax engines.
