Job summary

This role involves participating in the full lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions while leading strategic projects that drive growth and transformation. The position requires managing complex transactions and supporting local acquisitions across various markets.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, business development, or business strategy.
  • Advanced analytical skills and strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in developing business cases and delivering presentations; financial modeling experience is a plus.
  • A relevant degree in strategy, finance, accounting, or business (e.g., cand.merc., cand.oecon. or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee M&A processes from due diligence to negotiation and structuring, both locally and globally.
  • Support the integration of acquired companies into the corporate structure and processes.
  • Collaborate with the global organization to attract and retain strategic customers through financial arrangements.
  • Prepare and present acquisition cases to management.
  • Manage portfolios of local entities, including governance and transaction pipeline management.
  • Develop financial models and robust business cases.
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Relevant degree in strategy, finance, accounting, or business.

Tools

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
