Job summary

The Manager, Account Management is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships within Denmark, focusing on card-issuing clients. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to support customers in enhancing their financial services offerings and achieving shared commercial goals.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in structured account management, preferably in card-based payments or the broader payments ecosystem.
  • Proven track record in sales and marketing of products and solutions to financial institutions, issuers, acquirers, and/or merchants in the Danish market.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage one or several strategic customer relationships, building strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Drive sales of new products and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve commercial results.
  • Support customers in developing competitive payment offerings and contribute to revenue growth by identifying opportunities.

Skills

  • Curious mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a fast-moving, international, matrixed organization.
  • Comfortable challenging existing paradigms in a constructive manner.

Education

  • Experience from roles within the financial sector involving new payment offerings or financial services is an advantage.

Tools

  • Familiarity with card programs and financial services solutions.
