Job summary

This role involves building a proprietary dataset on European M&A transactions by cultivating a network of off-record sources such as investment bankers, private equity sponsors, and advisors. Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of M&A, private equity, or private credit markets.
  • Experience in sourcing market intelligence through journalism, research, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to cultivate senior-level sources and conduct off-record conversations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a network of sources including bankers, sponsors, and consultants.
  • Conduct daily high-trust conversations to gather insights on deal activity.
  • Identify and track live and upcoming M&A transactions in the region.
  • Ensure high-quality sourcing of proprietary datapoints for the platform.
  • Collaborate with analysts and research teams to maintain data integrity.
  • Contribute to the expansion of the real-time transaction pipeline.

Skills

Education
