About the role

Job summary

The role involves managing logistics for live and digital events, ensuring efficient operations and collaboration with global freight partners. The position requires a proactive approach to documentation, inventory control, and budget management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or operations.
  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships with global freight companies, particularly in the rental or touring industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation requirements, including Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, and ATA Carnets.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact between the Operations team and global freight partners, ensuring timely and accurate documentation for shipments.
  • Manage the inventory of event assets, overseeing kitting, packing, and staging for shipments.
  • Utilize inventory management tools for real-time tracking of assets.
  • Develop and oversee the logistics budget, tracking internal costs and vendor invoices, while identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Skills

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong negotiation abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in logistics or operations preferred.

Tools

  • Proficiency in dedicated Inventory Management Systems.
