Legal Counsel (Fund Formation, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves working as part of a Fund Formation team within a global fund manager focused on energy infrastructure investments. The position is based in Copenhagen and requires collaboration with various internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Business Law, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience in fund formation, private equity, or alternative investment funds

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare investment fund formation processes, including structuring and negotiating legal documentation
• Manage investor negotiations, onboarding, and fundraising processes
• Structure and negotiate various investment vehicles and related agreements
• Establish entities and handle regulatory registrations
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and advisors globally
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed
