Legal Compliance Specialist

Job summary

The role of Legal Compliance Specialist involves ensuring the organization adheres to data protection laws and legal compliance standards, particularly focusing on GDPR and related regulations. This position requires collaboration with various departments and external stakeholders to maintain compliance and support sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data protection and GDPR
• Familiarity with trade secret law, the AI Act, marketing regulations, and CSRD is a plus
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, security measures, and privacy-by-design principles
• Experience with international markets is advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support compliance with GDPR, Trade Secrets, AI Act, and marketing regulations
• Advise stakeholders across the organization on compliance matters
• Develop and deliver training programs on data privacy and compliance
• Create and maintain incident response plans for data breaches
• Assist departments in achieving and maintaining GDPR compliance
• Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits
• Develop and maintain compliance documentation and policies
• Act as the primary legal and compliance partner for the Group Sustainability function
• Travel to other European office locations approximately once per quarter
