Lead Support Engineer

Job summary

This role involves enhancing service technology by integrating customer data and ensuring the reliability, availability, maintenance, and safety of products. The position impacts departmental operations and requires planning and execution within established functional practices. While some autonomy is present, the focus remains on executing activities with guidance.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Fleet Management for roles outside the USA, or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• For roles in the USA, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of relevant experience).

Responsibilities

• Support the installed base through customer issue resolution, fleet management, service bulletin implementation, and outage management.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines and utilize prior experience to execute policies and strategies.
• Understand key business drivers and how team work integrates with other teams.
• Use judgment to propose solutions with guidance and solve straightforward tasks using technical skills and analytical thinking.
• Provide informal guidance to new team members and contribute to team development.

Skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Project management skills and the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as specified above.

Tools

• Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools, fleet management systems, and data analysis software.
