Lead Infrastructure Project Manager

Job summary

This role involves setting standards for deployment project management and overseeing the deployment project portfolio. You will be responsible for platform planning, performance management, and acting as the lead project manager for high-stakes initiatives. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in establishing project management standards and enhancing delivery maturity in global technology organizations.
• Proven ability to lead and coach project managers, ensuring quality and method improvements.
• Strong financial management skills, including CAPEX/OPEX profiling and budget planning.
• Experience with infrastructure platforms and large-scale technology services.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project management standards, including planning, reporting, and governance.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and embed lessons learned.
• Provide functional leadership to project managers and oversee high-stakes project delivery.
• Manage platform financial performance and maintain a 5-year lifecycle roadmap.

Skills

• Strong stakeholder management abilities, capable of translating project signals into portfolio-level decisions.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and high-availability infrastructure.

Education

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are preferred.

Tools

• Experience with project management tools and financial management software.
