Job summary

This role involves leading the expansion and maturation of Additive Manufacturing (AM) capabilities within a large-scale production environment. The position requires collaboration across various teams to integrate AM technologies effectively into the production process.

• Background in engineering or a related technical field
• Experience and technical understanding of additive manufacturing and production technologies
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
• Ability to manage technical uncertainty in emerging manufacturing technologies
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse teams
• Mentorship experience and collaborative problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance AM capabilities in equipment and element development
• Establish standards, guidelines, and scalable workflows for AM processes
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing to strengthen AM capabilities
• Collaborate with Product Managers and the Additive Engineering team to define technical direction
• Identify and implement digital tools to automate and scale AM production
• Work with the AM Technology Development team to resolve technical challenges and innovate
• Engage with key collaborators to ensure alignment and support for AM initiatives
• Support the development of robust AM production processes
