L&D & Shared Service Specialist (People Operations, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves supporting People Operations and Learning & Development initiatives within a vibrant team, focusing on enhancing employee experiences across Northern Europe. The position is a temporary maternity cover for approximately one year, starting in October.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Learning & Development, or a similar field.
• Experience in the hotel or service industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Familiarity with Workday and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is advantageous.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills for engaging diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Service-oriented with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Fluent in English and one or more Scandinavian languages (Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging learning sessions for employees and managers.
• Support the annual Learning & Development action plan and compliance training.
• Maintain LMS records and monitor training completion.
• Train hotel trainers on corporate learning programs.
• Provide first-level support on People Operations policies through a ticketing system.
• Assist with recruitment administration and employee lifecycle documentation.
• Facilitate onboarding processes and ensure compliance.
• Support the performance management cycle and maintain employee records.
• Collaborate with People Operations Business Partners to improve processes.
