LCA Product Expert (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves being the technical authority for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) within a climate tech company focused on sustainable construction. The position requires setting standards for LCA across the platform and managing technical relationships with concrete producers.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in LCA, with deep knowledge of EN 15804+A2, ISO standards, and relevant PCRs.
• Background in construction materials, specifically concrete, cement, aggregates, or SCMs.
• Proven project management experience, having managed multiple technical workstreams against strict deadlines.
• Experience in shipping Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) through verification.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively across various stakeholders, including engineers and plant operators.
• High-agency mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work across time zones, serving global customers.
• Passionate about decarbonizing the built environment.

• Own and translate LCA standards into product behavior and customer guidance.
• Manage technical relationships with concrete producers and review their models.
• Lead interactions with verifiers and ensure timely revisions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape the platform's accuracy.
• Handle multiple workstreams independently without project management support.
• Competitive salary range of 696,000–864,000 DKK/year plus equity.

• In-person role with a 4-day work week in the office located in Copenhagen.
