This role involves working as a laboratory technician in an international laboratory focused on environmental radioactivity and radiochemical analysis. Qualifications

  • Experience as a laboratory technician, preferably in a laboratory environment.
  • Strong hands-on skills in laboratory work, particularly in radiochemical analysis and measurement techniques (radiometric and mass spectrometric).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and a Scandinavian language, or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technicians and researchers in the laboratory.
  • Prepare and analyze large series of samples for radioactivity determination.
  • Calculate and assure the quality of results before communicating them to researchers and customers.
  • Maintain laboratory instruments and optimize measurement protocols.

Skills

Education

  • Relevant educational background in laboratory technology or a related field is preferred.

Tools
