Lab Scientist (Biopharmaceutical)

Job summary

The role involves providing scientific leadership in the Downstream MSAT lab, focusing on tech transfers and processes related to protein purification. The position is part of a team that supports both clinical and commercial operations.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in a biopharmaceutical or related field, with a focus on protein purification.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to ensure team understanding and timely project completion.
• Experience with regulatory requirements for MSAT labs and SOP writing is preferred.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Plan resources and maintain project deadlines for lab-scale activities.
• Oversee small-scale verification runs for ongoing and future campaigns.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts on project-specific tasks and scientific reviews.
• Prepare written reports summarizing investigations and studies.
• Manage laboratory activities, including developing procedures and protocols.
• Support regulatory compliance by writing SOPs for lab operations.
• Evaluate lab capabilities and implement new methods and equipment.
• Assist in investigations through lab testing and data analysis.
