Junior Analyst (Venture Investments, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role of Junior Analyst involves supporting the Venture Investments team in investment analysis and administrative tasks within the life science sector. This position is based in the Copenhagen office and requires a commitment of 15-20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a 3rd year Bachelor’s student or 1st year Master’s student in natural life sciences, biomedical sciences, medicine, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
• Sufficient scientific literacy to comprehend primary research literature.
• Basic understanding of drug development and the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated interest in the commercial application of scientific research, biotech, entrepreneurship, or venture capital.
• Basic knowledge of finance and venture capital is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong academic performance record.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AI tools; experience with Salesforce CRM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the European investment team with deal flow administration and investment due diligence.
• Screen new companies and participate in global team meetings.
• Undertake various ad-hoc tasks as required.

Education
