Job summary

Seeking two passionate Arts educators to create engaging learning experiences for primary school students aged 5-11. The role involves designing arts programs that foster creativity, collaboration, and inquiry-based learning.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced in teaching design and handcraft or performance arts (drama, movement, music) to children aged 5-11.
• Experience in additional arts areas (e.g., music, drama, visual arts) is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building skills with students and colleagues.
• Comfortable with flexible teaching in small groups and project-based settings.
• Interest in integrated arts and transdisciplinary learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement arts experiences that encourage curiosity and creative expression.
• Collaborate with fellow Arts specialists to plan integrated learning experiences.
• Guide students through artistic processes including exploring, designing, and performing.
• Document student learning through portfolios and exhibitions.
• Connect arts learning to broader units of inquiry and contribute to transdisciplinary projects.
