Job summary

The Centre for Integrative Innovation Management is seeking an Associate Professor in Innovation Management to conduct research and teach in the field. The position is set to commence on January 1, 2027, or as negotiated. The role emphasizes a cross-disciplinary approach to innovation, focusing on the development of innovative capabilities and the management of emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in social sciences (business economics, economics, or similar) or a cross-disciplinary Ph.D. with a significant social science contribution.
  • Proven record of research publications in top-ranked journals, particularly in innovation management.
  • Experience with external research funding and established ties within the international research community is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research aligned with the Centre's strategic priorities, including digital innovation, emerging technologies, and innovation-induced change processes.
  • Teach courses in innovation management, marketing, and project management at both B.Sc. and M.Sc. levels.
  • Contribute to the development of the Research Centre and participate in academic life within the department.
  • Guide doctoral students and junior faculty, and engage in academic administration.

Skills

  • Strong research methodology skills with the ability to combine different approaches.
  • Proficiency in English for teaching purposes; non-Danish candidates are expected to learn Danish.

Education

  • A Master's degree and a Ph.D. degree or equivalent are required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with research publication processes and academic administration tools is beneficial.
