Intern Project & Event Management

Job summary

This internship position focuses on supporting the planning and coordination of international events related to global health and migration. The intern will work on-site in Copenhagen and Geneva, gaining hands-on experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Danish University at bachelor’s or master’s level.
• Interest in global health, migration, project/event management, or humanitarian diplomacy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in project coordination or event management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating the global NCD event and migration matrix meeting.
• Maintain participant lists, invitations, and registration trackers.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars with teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare meeting agendas, presentation materials, and briefing notes.
• Document meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
• Coordinate communications with speakers, participants, and vendors.
• Assist with logistical arrangements, including venue and travel coordination.
• Track event timelines and milestones to ensure schedules are met.
• Quality-check presentations and reports.
• Support stakeholder engagement and respond to inquiries.
• Manage project documentation and ensure accessibility for the team.
• Assist with post-event activities, including feedback surveys and reporting.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.

Education

• Enrollment in a Danish University at bachelor’s or master’s level is mandatory.

Tools

• Familiarity with project management and event coordination tools is beneficial.
