Integration Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on building and maintaining integrations between a financial platform and various external systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and data integrity. The position is critical for enabling the platform to interact with banking APIs, e-invoicing networks, and tax platforms.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in software development, specifically in building production-grade integrations.
• Proven experience with external APIs, particularly in banking and payments, including familiarity with J.P. Morgan and HSBC.
• Understanding of AI tools and their application in software development.
• Comfortable working across the technology stack, with a focus on backend development.
• Strong emphasis on data integrity and reliability in financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrations with corporate banking and payments APIs, ensuring compliance with various standards and protocols.
• Design multi-tenant systems that securely manage credentials and data for multiple customers.
• Connect the platform to global e-invoicing networks and manage compliance with local regulations.
• Implement strategies for reliability and reconciliation of transactions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Skills

• Experience with Kotlin and React is preferred, with a strong backend focus.
• Familiarity with ISO 20022, SWIFT, and open banking concepts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Tools

• AWS for cloud infrastructure, Terraform for infrastructure management.
