IBP Data and Technology Steward (Remote, Administration)

Job summary

The IBP Data and Technology Steward is responsible for driving the design, build, and operationalization of foundational models and data structures for Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) processes. This role involves ensuring high-quality data modeling products and effective decision-making support for business leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge in predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interface with business for decision-making support.
• Specialized expertise in planning or supply processes.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical capabilities.
• Strong leadership and executive presence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of independent operation.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and oversee a team of junior data scientists.
• Maintain operating forecasts and inventory models to optimize KPIs.
• Develop scalable planning data pipelines for major planning systems.
• Ensure consistent data governance and establish peer review processes.
• Troubleshoot anomalies in algorithms and support model alignment with standards.
• Establish core end-to-end planning data models and workflows.
• Collaborate with IT to define system requirements and enhancements.
• Support configuration of planning applications and scenario modeling.
