About the role

Job summary

The role involves driving and enhancing a Human Rights Programme within a global logistics organization, ensuring the integration of human rights respect throughout operations and business relationships.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of international business and human rights standards, including the UN Guiding Principles and OECD Guidelines.
  • At least 6 years of experience in business and human rights, preferably in a multinational context.
  • Proven ability to independently manage projects and navigate complex challenges.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the Human Rights Programme and related roadmaps, ensuring coordination and accountability.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize human rights risks in the value chain.
  • Provide tools and support to enhance internal processes related to human rights.
  • Develop tracking mechanisms for human rights performance and communicate with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on human rights objectives and promote awareness and training.

Skills

  • Strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in human rights or related fields.

Tools

  • Familiarity with compliance and monitoring tools related to human rights.
