Job summary

The Head of the Project Management Office (PMO) will lead the PMO function within the Innovation Portfolio Management team, focusing on both strategic and operational aspects. This role involves overseeing project, program, and portfolio management processes to ensure effective governance and decision-making across R&D initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in leading a PMO within a complex organizational structure.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a small team of specialists.
  • Strong understanding of change management in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a small PMO team, setting priorities and guiding workflows.
  • Continuously improve project, program, and portfolio management processes and tools, providing training for project managers.
  • Manage resource allocation and financial forecasting processes.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
  • Facilitate and enhance the Portfolio Review process and establish a new R&D Performance Management Process.

Skills

  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to present data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency in IT and analytics tools, including Power BI, Excel, Power Apps, and project management software.
  • Experience as a hands-on project manager is preferred.

Education

  • Relevant degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Tools

  • Familiarity with project and portfolio management tools, as well as data analytics software.
