Job summary

The role involves leading the development and scaling of quantitative strategies and infrastructure for a decentralized finance platform. The position focuses on creating systematic trading strategies and optimizing liquidity in cross-chain markets.

Responsibilities

• Design game theoretical models for protocol interactions and market dynamics.
• Define and implement strategies for systematic trading and liquidity optimization.
• Develop, test, and refine quantitative trading strategies for on-chain and cross-chain markets.
• Create frameworks for signal generation and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to transition research into production systems.
• Build analytical tools and simulation environments for strategy execution.
• Monitor market conditions and enhance trading models based on performance metrics.
• Work with product teams to explore new market opportunities.
• Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to evaluate strategy effectiveness.
• Mentor and lead a quantitative research and analytics team.

Qualifications

Nice to Have

• Over 7 years of experience in quantitative research, algorithmic trading, or market making.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
• Proven experience in developing systematic trading strategies in crypto or traditional markets.
• Proficient in programming, particularly in Typescript; knowledge of Rust, Python, or Go is advantageous.
• In-depth understanding of market microstructure and risk management.
• Experience with large datasets and analytical pipeline development.
• Strong collaboration skills with technical teams.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with alpha generation engines and decentralized exchange infrastructure.
• Familiarity with high-frequency trading systems and machine learning applications in trading.
• Background in market-making strategies and contributions to open-source projects.
